Made from estate-grown rice and two handcrafted nuruk – Yongyeongok and Hyangongok – this yakju is brewed in three stages and matured for 180 days. Aromas of green grape and peach meet layered fruit and fine savoury, lightly herbal nuances. The palate is soft and wine-like, with a clean, long-lasting finish.

Baekkyung is a young rice winery built on old foundations. In 2023, Jeong Chang-yun founded the distillery in Sejong, building on a craft that has accompanied his family for generations. Three yakju expressions are made here today, White, Gold and Black, showing how much character can lie in rice, water and nuruk alone.
